Dining Options You know it: your brain and your body need proper nourishment for you to feel good and be at your best. Dewhurst Dining Hall, or Dewies as everyone calls it, is the place to enjoy a first-rate meal in the company of fellow students, staff and faculty. Enjoy delicious food thanks to our talented team of chefs who emphasize freshness and taste in their dishes. A new day brings a new menu catering to a variety of tastes and dietary concerns: carnivore, omnivore, vegetarian, flexitarian, vegan, nut-free, or gluten-free. Students living in residence are required to purchase a meal plan and off campus students can purchase a variety of meal packages or choose pay-as-you-eat options as well. Dewies is the main dining hall on campus and offers a Continuous Dining Experience. What this means is that students on one of our meal plans can swipe their student card between 7:30 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. 7 days per week, as many times a day as they desire, and have access to every- thing being served and can eat as much as they wish. In addition to Dewies Dining Hall, you’ll also find these dining options on our campus: Tim Horton’s, Student Centre Eatery, BUs Stop Café and Library Learning Commons Café. All students living in residence must choose from one of the following meal plans. Pricing is for a full academic year (September 2020 to April 2021) The Flexible Diner – Full access to Dewhurst Dining Hall’s “Continuous Dining Experience” as well as two guest meal passes per semester for use at Dewies. $4,960 The Square Mealer – Full access to Dewhurst Dining Hall’s “Continuous Dining Expereince” plus $144 tax free retail Gaiter Dollars to use at any other campus dining venues as well as four guest meal passes per semester for use at Dewies. $5,104 The Hearty Eater – Full access to Dewhurst Dining Hall’s “Continuous Dining Experience” plus $224 tax free retail Gaiter Dollars to use at any other campus dining venues as well as eight guest meal passes per semester for use at Dewies. $5,176 The Suite Deal – This plan is only available for those living in Paterson hall and provides $590 of tax free retail Gaiter Dollars to use at any campus dining venue including Dewies. $590 5-Day Commuter Meal Plan – This plan was created with off-campus students in mind. Off-campus students can sign up for this meal plan and enjoy Dewies “all you care to eat” dining for 16 hours per day, five days a week throughout the year with unlimited swipes during those days.$3,604 Meal plans
